El lehendakari se interesa por el Fermentador de 150 litros durante el acto de celebración del X aniversario de CIC bioGUNE

El Centro de Investigación Cooperativa en Biociencias – CIC bioGUNE, donde actualmente Bioprocess Technology ha instalado un Fermentador de 150 litros, a celebrado hoy la conmemoración de su décimo aniversario en el que han estado presentes el lehendakri Iñigo Urkullu y la consejera de Desarrollo Económico y Competitividad Arantxa Tapia.

El lehendakari ha reafirmado que la prioridad de su Gobierno sigue siendo la reactivación económica y el fortalecimiento del tejido industrial. Urkullu insiste que la estrategia definida para salir de la crisis está en la “buena dirección” y ha destacado la importancia de la innovación. El reto, según su visión, es que más empresas se incorporen a la innovación, que la I+D+i llegue al tejido industrial, a las PYME´s. Este es el camino, según el lehendakari para “mirar al futuro de forma decidida”, integrando la mejora en la gestión y siguiendo criterios de innovación, y a la vez conjugando la inversión público privada.

Una vez acabada la visita por las instalaciones de CIC bioGUNE, acompañado por su director José María Mato y el diputado general de Bizkaia, el lehendakari ha afirmado que la innovación ahora “está más cerca de los nuevos modelos de producción, del mercado y de Europa”.

Biociencias-Salud (Fermentador 150 litros)

CIC bioGUNE pertenece al ámbito de la Fabricación Avanzada en Biociencias/Salud. Este es un centro que lleva a cabo investigación de vanguardia en campos como la Biología Estructural, Molecular y Celular con especial foco en el estudio de las bases moleculares de la enfermedad para desarrollar nuevos métodos de diagnóstico y terapias avanzadas. Esta aportación en el área de Biociencias/Salud es “clave” para uno de los campos en los que Euskadi ha decidido especializarse porque responde, según el lehendakari, a dos de los grandes retos de la sociedad como son la salud y el envejecimiento de la población.

The local government of Basque Country got interested for the 150 litters Fermenter in the visit to CIC bioGune during their 10 years anniversary celebration

The Cooperative Research Centre in Biosciences – CIC bioGUNE, where currently Bioprocess Technology S.L. has installed a 150 litter fermenter, today celebrated the commemoration of its tenth anniversary which was attended by the President of Basque country Iñigo Urkullu and the Minister of Economic Development and Competitiveness Arantxa Tapia.

The Basque president reaffirmed that his government’s priority remains economic recovery and help strengthen the industrial base.

Urkullu maintains that the strategy defined to exit the crisis is in the «right direction» and stressed the importance of innovation. The challenge, in his view, is that more companies join the innovation, R+D+i reach the industrial sector, small and medium enterprises.

This is the way, according to the Basque president to «look to the future with determination», introducing management improvements following criteria combining innovation and public-private investment.

Following a tour of the facilities of CIC bioGUNE accompanied by José María Mato director and deputy general of Biscay, the Basque premier said that innovation «is closer to the new models of production, of market and of Europe» now.

Biosciences-Health (150 litters Fermenter)

CIC bioGUNE falls within the scope of Advanced Manufacturing Bioscience / Health.

This center conducts cutting-edge research in fields of Structural, Molecular and Cellular Biology with special attention to the study of the molecular basis of the disease to develop new diagnostics and advanced therapies.

This contribution in the field of Bioscience / Health is «key» to one of the areas in which Euskadi has decided to specialize in that response, according to the Basque premier, large societal challenges such as health and aging population.
